Pack Artists: Where are they now?

We've had the good fortune of attracting many skilled artists when we put out our annual call for art. This year I realized that not only are we growing a diversity of heirloom seeds, but we're also growing an eclectic collection of contemporary art.

We pay our artists as much as we can for their commissioned work, but it's not as much as I would like to be able to give them. To help make up for this, we've always held two annual gallery shows of the work. This year I've teamed up with public installation artist Michael Asbill. Michael is helping us re-conceptualize what our collection of art can be, and figuring out more ways to share the art and promote our artists.

This year's preiview at Sotheby's Art of Farming benefit. This year's preview at Sotheby's Art of Farming benefit.

We'll be mounting more shows, curating exhibits, offering giclee prints and more. If you have any ideas for places to show the work, including galleries, restaurants, museums, historical sites, community centers, public buildings, botanical gardens, or other alternative spaces, let us know! So far we've booked the 2012 show for December, February, and April and two restaurants will have displays of the new fine art prints.

In the meantime, I'll be posting info about our artist's upcoming personal shows and news. If you love their pack, you'll love their art!
