Philly Flower Show Ticket Giveaway

I'm in Philly finishing setting up our booth for the Philadelphia Flower Show and Doug is home keeping the Seed Library running and getting the farm started. "Springtime in Paris"  is far and away the biggest (and longest and most expensive!) garden show we have done. I'm excited to share our seeds and mission with so many new gardeners but it would be sweet to see some familiar faces as well.  I have two pairs of evening tickets to give away. (Good for Monday 7 - Sunday 13, 3pm on)  To enter the giveaway, just leave a comment on this blog post telling us about your favorite Seed Library seed you grew last season. I'll choose 2 comments at random on Monday and contact you about picking up your tickets at the show.

See you in Paris!

Here's some pics of set up.

No. I'm not rebuilding the Eiffel Tower. But it feels like it today.

We didn't grow anything from your seeds YET but we just bought 40+ varieties of vegetables and every herb in your catalog for the first year of our organic farm & homestead after my wife-to-be attended your heirloom seed saving class at the NOFA-NJ conference. We can't wait to get them started in the greenhouse.

I can't wait to see your display at the Flower Show!

My favorite Seed Library seed that I grew last year was the Fox cherry tomato. Those tomatoes were out of this world! Just one plant produced almost more tomatoes than one family could eat! And each one was picture perfect. I gave a seedling of it to a friend who put it in a pot on a shaded patio, and even she got fabulous tomatoes. It's a wonder plant, that Fox!

A favorite every year including last year was the Rose de Berne tomato. I think part of it was I was just so happy to see a ripe tomato again! But your seeds did beautifully as well and I think they were from 2008! Have fun at the flower show, don't forget to push our peppers!

Hey Ken! I love your seeds! Rainbow Chard was my favorite but I love everything the seed library does.
I really hope to see you and Adam at the show
