Garden cress is similar to watercress but is more potently flavored. It's truly peppery; compared to arugula it has more tang and less body. Used sparingly on salads and sandwiches it really livens the palate. Easy and fast-growing; bolts quite quickly, so if you enjoy it, plan succession sowings.
