These cosmos are great--a lacy-leaved and flat-bloomed answer (in the same terrific golden hues) to calendula. By late summer, cosmo foliage is robust, a beautiful rounded clump of thin-leaved green that suggests dryland plants. Its blooms form on thick, wiry stalks that jut upward a bit. Tolerates semi-neglected conditions.
