2015 Seed Donation Program
Here at the Seed Library, we love gardening, and we believe it should be a part of everyone's lives. To help make gardening as accessible as possible, we are once again donating packs of seeds to gardeners in need. Over the years we've donated thousands of seeds to school gardens, community garden groups, and seed sharing organizations - last year alone, we sent out over 3000 packs of seed.
We need your help finding good homes for them! This month, we are asking for seed donation nominations for your favorite community gardening group. Every group that's nominated will receive seed packets from the Seed Library. The more nominations a group receives - the more seeds we will send. To nominate, simply fill out this form:
Thanks for helping us get good seeds into the dirty hands of caring gardeners! Stay Seedy, and don't forget to like this post on Facebook and share it with your friends.
Thanks for your interest in nominating an organization to receive a seed donation. The season for seed donation nominations is over for this year, and all nominated organizations will receive details on how to receive their free seeds by Monday, February 8th, 2015.
If you missed the deadline but would still like to be considered for a donation of seeds, please contact us to see if we have any seeds currently available for donation. Please note that in order to make the donation program sustainable, we do require recipients to pay for a small shipping and handling charge for each batch of donated seed.
Please sign up for our Seeder's Digest Newsletter to find out when the next round of seed donations will be happening.
