2015 Seed Donation Program
Here at the Seed Library, we love gardening, and we believe it should be a part of everyone's lives. To help make gardening as accessible as possible, we are once again donating packs of seeds to gardeners in need. Over the years we've donated thousands of seeds to school gardens, community garden groups, and seed sharing organizations - last year alone, we sent out over 3000 packs of seed.
We need your help finding good homes for them! This month, we are asking for seed donation nominations for your favorite community gardening group. Every group that's nominated will receive seed packets from the Seed Library. The more nominations a group receives - the more seeds we will send. To nominate, simply fill out this form:
Thanks for helping us get good seeds into the dirty hands of caring gardeners! Stay Seedy, and don't forget to like this post on Facebook and share it with your friends.
Nominate an Organization for Our 2015 Seed Donation Program
Use this form to nominate a group or person to receive free seeds. This can be your own group or a group you'd like to see receive free seeds. Please check contact info carefully. If the email or mailing address is incorrect we won't be able to get in touch with them!
How to qualify:
Donation seeds must be used for planting. Please do not use them for fundraising or resale. (We have separate programs/seeds for that.)
Groups must be garden related and able to say where the seeds will be planted. This could be a school garden or a community garden organization that will be distributing seeds to gardeners in need.
Nominations are open until January 31st.
We will do our best to send donations to everyone in February.
