Details

Costata Romanesca Zucchini is the foreign exchange summer squash you want to befriend--it's got a cool accent (originally from Italy in case the name didn't give it away), is beyond tasty eaten cooked or raw, and produces plenty of male squash flowers for your enjoyment. This cool, ribbed summer squash boasts a nutty flavor and looks positively daisy-like when harvested with-flower.

This pic is from Lauren, who runs Crossroads Hydroponics in Newburgh, NY. She posted this on our Facebook page and wrote, "An overgrown Costata Romanesca...dog-size!" Thanks for sharing Lauren!
