These are our tried and true fall root varieties. This set includes (1) pack of Detroit Dark Red Beet, (1) pack of Red Cored Chantanay Carrot, (1) pack of Watermelon Radish, and (1) Purple Top White Globe Turnip. Storage carrots should be sown 10-12 weeks before first frost date, and harvested before the ground freezes. Storage beets should be sown 9-11 weeks before first frost, and harvested before temperatures are consistently below freezing. Watermelon radish should be sown about 8 weeks before first frost, and harvested before the ground freezes. Turnips should be sown about 8-10 weeks before first frost and harvested before the ground freezes.
