Garlic begins shipping in September.
Music is a Poreclain variety of garlic with 4-6 plump cloves per head. Heads range from white to white with a purple blush. Each clove is well wrapped in tan colored skins.
Music is prized for it's easy of use: huge cloves with incredible easy to peel wrappers. The flavor is great, medium spiciness perfect for both raw and cooked dishes. Store well, up to 6 months if handled properly after harvest.
Porcelain garlics have fat cloves that make them perfect for growing in the Northeast climate. The size overwinters and provides enough energy to get young garlic plants a good start in the spring.
Grown at Skymeadow Farm, a Certified Organic farm in Cherry Valley, New York.
Garlic is sold in pound quantities. Please select the type of package you would like from the dropdown menu, and then enter how many you would like in the quantity box. (There are typically 25-40 cloves per pound; each clove successfully grown will produce a full bulb the following year.)
Feel free to order at any time, but be aware that garlic ships beginning in September.
